🌊Welcome to Mina Protocol's Wave Hack
Join WaveHack, a creative competition centered around Mina Protocol, one of the most advanced protocols in the web3 space for zero-knowledge proofs, and use your creativity to spread the word about Mina's appeal and advantages!
This WaveHack, open to all creators from crypto enthusiasts to builders, features a unique theme every two weeks. After a 10-day submission period, there's a rigorous 4-day review. Once the review is complete, grants are paid out immediately.
The purpose of this WaveHack is to raise awareness of Mina's advantages among the audience and promote the use of its protocol. Therefore, in addition to the quality of the content, the likelihood of the content being viewed continuously is also a crucial evaluation point.

Take on this competition with your unique perspective and aim for the highest evaluation!
We accept content in both English🔤 and Japanese🇯🇵. Those who submit outstanding work may be offered ambassadorship by Mina Foundation.

📝Waves and Content Creation Theme
Details for each Wave will be released as the date approaches. If you want to create large-scale content, we recommend preparing in advance. Please refer to the "How to Apply / Rules" section below for the rules.
When posting content, please consider the following points:
- Introduce in your own way: Promote Mina in a way that suits your style, such as blogs or videos.
- Be creative on social media: If using social media, make sure your posts stand out and don't get buried. For example, content that quickly disappears, such as on X (Twitter), is not eligible for judging.
- Spread your content: Widely distribute the content you create on your social media.
- Make sure your content is visible to everyone.
- Entries that appear to have been generated solely by AI are not eligible for judging.
If you need Mina's logos and icons, you can download their brand assets.

Wave 4: Building on Mina Protocol ($1,000)
Submission period: Jan 24 ~ Feb 03 (Review period: Feb 04 ~ Feb 07)
Develop practical applications on the Mina Protocol. Provide tutorials, code examples, or video courses to help more developers engage with Mina.

- O1js: TypeScript library for zkApp development without deep cryptographic knowledge.
- Protokit: Modular framework for building privacy-enhanced application chains on Mina.

🏃Completed WaveHacks
Wave 1: Getting Started with Mina Protocol ($1,000)
Submission period: Dec 09 ~ Dec 18 (Review period: Dec 19 ~ Dec 22)
Create content that introduces the fundamentals of Mina Protocol. Cover topics such as the basic concepts, vision, role in Web3, zk-SNARKs technology, wallet setup, community overview, and MINA tokens.

Dive into the Mina ecosystem by exploring and introducing various zkApps. Since there aren’t many officially launched zkApps yet, you can also explore projects under the Mina Foundation Grant Program. Highlight how these applications work, provide reviews, and discuss anticipated features.

Wave 3: Delving into Mina’s Technology ($1,000)
Submission period: Jan 06 ~ Jan 15 (Review period: Jan 16 ~ Jan 19)
Create content that highlights the technical aspects of Mina Protocol. This can include translating official documents into Korean, developing implementation guides, or writing technical articles.
Additional Information:
- O1js: TypeScript library for zkApp development without deep cryptographic knowledge.
- Protokit: Modular framework for building privacy-enhanced application chains on Mina.
Instructions:
Developers are encouraged to utilize O1js and Protokit frameworks in their projects.

📊Judging Criteria
1. Accuracy (25%)
Rating of how accurately and comprehensively the concepts are explained, and how precisely potential translations convey the original content.
2. Clarity (25%)
Assessment of how clear and easy to understand the content is, considering the simplicity of language, logical structure and graphics.
3. Impact (25%)
Evaluation of the impact potential for the community overall and how well the content is adapted to the Japanese context.
4. Creativity (25%)
Rating of the level of creativity in the presentation and how effectively it engages the audience.
🙋♂️How to Apply / Rules
1. Sign up and create an account on the AKINDO platform.
2. Click "JOIN WAVEHACK" at the top right of this WaveHack page, then click "Submit".
3. On the next screen, create your own page with "Create Project". This page is for an overall summary of your efforts, so a simple content is fine. Example: https://app.akindo.io/communities/aAG70kDr0u8nkAQAd
4. Open your created project page and click "New product".
Note:
- Enter the wallet address to receive grants in "Project Wallet Address (EVM Only)" (exchange addresses not allowed).
5. Fill in the details. Describe in detail the content you created for the target WaveHack.

Note:
- Enter your content's site link in "Github repo".
- Make sure "Product detail visibility" is set to "Show". If set to Hide, it will be excluded from review.
6. Click "Submit" from this WaveHack page.
7. Specify the product created in step 4 from "Product", and enter a product overview in "Updates in this Wave". Enter "N/A" for all Milestones. Finally, click "Submit the product" to complete the submission!
