It is quite new for us as we have developed on Solidity and Rust only earlier. Given the time frame of 2 days, we learned lots of new things especially faced lots of issues with move contract integration with frontend. SUI team is very helpful and supportive and provided us with the required resources and docs to resolve the issues.</p><h4><strong>ZK Login Issue</strong></h4><p>We are trying to implement ZK login for the users to login to the platform using Google account. We are using <a href="https://devfolio.co/@mysten/zklogin" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>@mysten/zklogin</strong></a> which is quite new and facing lots of issues with docs implementation. We have discussed the issue with SUI team at hackathon and they are too helpful and connected with their ZK developer on telegram - who have finally helped us to resolve the issue in the last moment.</p><h4><strong>LivePeer Integration &amp; Sui Wallet flow</strong></h4><p>We are trying to integrate LivePeer for live streaming of the games and integrated with Sui Wallet. We have integrated the LivePeer SDK with the frontend but facing issues with the LivePeer API. Took us little time and we have successfully solved the issue.</p>

The more you interact with it, the greater say you have in its governance.</h2><h2>Inspiration</h2><p>I was inspired to build Signal DAO after moving to a new city and finding it hard to connect with new people. It occurred to me that I pass the same strangers every day who share my interests and hobbies - we live in the same building, go to the same gym, enjoy the same cafes, or play the same sports. Despite an epidemic of loneliness, crowded cities, and all of us carrying devices that constantly broadcast our location to private companies... it seems harder than ever to connect with one another in meaningful ways. I also used React, Typescript, and Leaflet.js for the front-end. I knew there would be so many features I wanted to add, so I spent a good proportion of time in the planning stage, coming up with an MVP and using wireframes to know where to focus my efforts. I also used Kyle Peacock's Webpack starter kit which was so useful &lt;3</p>

<h2>Inspiration</h2><p>The Web today is plagued with too much information and we as the seeders and feeders of the web always want more. We want to solve this problem of "information overload" with GraphQL (Graph Query Language) by providing a finer grained access to widely available data on the internet, thats not only trustable but also preserves privacy and gives its users empowered freedom of expression.</p><h2>What it does</h2><p>PhishLink was built with the motivation of allowing users to trust the links or URL's (Universal Resource Locators) they click, on the internet. It checks this information from reliable information sources like Google Safe (Lookup API). Although there are other services on the internet that already do this, however they all use REST API (Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interface) which is not sustainable for the only reason that they don't provide privacy, safety and freedom of expression to its users. A GraphQL API on the other hand provisions fine grained access control to data thus preserving privacy of its users and thus empowering freedom of expression.</p><h2>How we built it</h2><p>PhishLink was built using the GraphQL Apollo server that allows the schema of REST API services, like Google Safe Browser API to be replicated in GraphQL API. The Apollo server backend then sends requests from the newly created Schema to the Google REST API to check if a URL is a trustable source of information. The GraphQL API is made public by deploying the subgraph using Railway and accessible through the Apollo Studio.</p><h2>Challenges we ran into</h2><p>One of the biggest challenges we ran into with this project, was that we started it with the LiftOffSeries Tutorials on the Apollo Server Website. The schema implementations of the project used for these tutorials are not standard (using .js instead of .graphql file extensions).</p><p>We also faced challenges with replicating the the Google Safe API Schema onto GraphQL as the structure doesn't use straight forward data types.</p><h2>Accomplishments that we're proud of</h2><p>We are confident that PhishLink even though in its nascent stages today will serve as a platform for both security and education. With its ability to facilitate for URL checking through Google Safe API it will provision a safer internet, yet maintaining privacy for its users by allowing fine grained access control to those who connect to this publicly available GraphQL API, thus laying the foundation for a more cyber secure and sustainable internet. Especially for people like us that are prey to phishing attacks through social engineering tactics and don't want to share our information of our whereabouts in the wider web. We do not earn any fee for this application, and provision it completely free to serve as an educational content. <h2>Inspiration</h2><p>It is clear now that CeFi is going to be disrupted and at a speed and scale they are not going to be prepared for. This disruption creates huge opportunities. Centralised derivatives and options are an enourmous market and growing rapidly so a decentralised protocol has the potential to capture some of this market disruption.</p><h2>What it does</h2><p>Optyn is protocol that allows an option market to be created for any Chainlink price oracle, collateralized with any ERC20 or BEP-20 tokens.</p><p>Options have been around since the time of Aristotle and are used to hedge a portfolio and for speculation. They give the buyer the right but not the obligation to buy or sell the underlying asset at leverage.</p><p>Option terminology can put people off (puts/calls/greeks etc.) but they aren’t complicated so we have strived to make the UI as simple as possible.</p><p>If you expect the price to rise you go up you buy a long(call) and if you expect the price to fall you buy a short(put). The period of holding determines how long the option is valid for before it expires. If an option is on the right side of the strike price and hasn’t expired it can be exercised and the option holder is paid out in the underlying asset.</p><h2>What can I trade?</h2><p>An option market can be created for any Chainlink price oracle. Currently this includes:</p>Crypto currencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Xrp …ERC20 tokens: Binance, Chainlink, Uniswap, Sushiswap …Forex: GBP, AUD, CHF, EUR, CNY, JPY, KRW …Indices: FTSE, Nikkei, Total crypto market cap …Commodities: Gold, silver, oil …Etheruem gas and …. any new Chainlink price oracles as they are created. The sky is the limit!<h2>How we built it</h2><p>Optyn(pronounced “option”) is a fork of the the Hegic protocol which successfully launched an on chain options protocol for ETH &amp; BTC only. It was refactored to support the ERC-1155 multi token standard for the token pool and generalised so that a market could be created from any combination of a Chainlink oracle &amp; token pool.</p><p>The front end is built with Vue.</p><p>Apart from Rinkeby the other testnets the protocol has been successfully deployed to are the Binance Smart Chain &amp; Polygon.</p><h2>Challenges we ran into</h2><p>Option prices are typically priced using something called Implied Volatility(IV). As demand for options increases the IV goes up, making options more expensive. There is currently no source of this information on(or off) the blockchain. I had to find a solution that could work for all the various oracles that could be created using information in the protocol.</p><p>I also had issues with getting it working on the Plasm &amp; Moonbeam testnets.</p><h2>Accomplishments that we're proud of</h2><p>The protocol is very close to be ready for mainnet usage.</p><h2>What we learned</h2><p>Things take much longer than you expect! XRPayment Metaverse

<p>MiDNA is a service that analyzes the presence or absence of rare or genetic diseases. It is a service that has benefits for both screeners who provide genomic information and companies that analyze genomic information:</p>For screeners, the ZKApp (MiDNA Client), which operates offline, allows them to use their genomic information for analysis without leaking it to the outside world. In order to check the analyzed results, they will be authenticated to access the analysis result data by providing a certain amount of gas required for the analysis using Mina. At this time, no information other than the testee's personal information or genomic information is transmitted. This allows the testee to use the analysis service without exposing their important genomic and health information to the outside world.For analysis service providers, they can target customers who want to use analysis services but are reluctant to expose their information. Since payment through Mina is required to get the analysis results, you can monetize with a stable payment pipeline. Additionally, you can contribute to the expansion of the Mina ecosystem through applications that are utilized in the Mina ecosystem.<p>To take advantage of the above advantages, we utilized the o1.js library based on ZKP-snark and used Protokit to create off-chain / on-chain services that operate on top of Mina while using this library easily.</p><strong>Challenges we ran into</strong><p>Here are some of the challenges we faced during the project</p>Based on our experience with Solidity, the use of Protokit provided a different user experience. This made it difficult to fully digest within the short timeframe of the hackathon. In particular, we think it would be easier and more comfortable to develop if there were more use cases.The scope of applying ZKP was limited to anonymity, which made it difficult to apply it more widely. We approached the problem by trying to make it as simple and universal as possible, while still providing maximum anonymity.Since it is a proof-of-concept for genome sequencing, many modifications are needed for actual service realization. In particular, genomic data is very large, so there are challenges to solve. In the hackathon, we used a strategy of extracting only simple sequences and converting the similarity of specific sequences into a score and visualizing it.<p><br /></p>

This project addresses the significant issue of illiquidity in the NFT market, offering a practical solution for NFT owners who need immediate access to funds without selling their valuable digital assets.</p><h4><strong>Key Features and Functionality</strong></h4>Collateralized Loans with NFTs:Use NFTs as Collateral: Users can put down their NFTs as collateral to secure loans in stablecoins. This innovative approach leverages the value of digital assets, providing liquidity without the need to sell the NFTs.Flexible Loan Management:Multiple Loans: The platform supports taking out one or more loans simultaneously, providing flexibility to the users based on their financial needs.Streamlined Interest Payments: Using Access Control Lists (ACL), the platform pulls a stream from the user to pay interest on the loan. <h3>Vision</h3><p>A proof of concept using ZK-Snark and Hydra on Cardano</p><h3>Description</h3><p>We studied an implementation in Plutus of a ZK-SNARK proof validation algorithm following the Groth16 protocol. The validation is ran by Hydra nodes. We showcase the use of zero knowledge proofs by implementing the game MasterMind in a Web 3 full fledged environment.</p><p>This project opens the possibility of bringing new innovations in the field of Zero Knowledge Proofs, and the opportunity to leverage the state of the art ZK tooling to the Cardano ecosystem.</p>

<strong>The problem PeerVote solves</strong><p>Our solution tackles key problems faced by local communities:</p><p>Lack of Decentralized System: We enable local communities to establish their own decentralized resource-sharing and local development investment system. This empowers them to efficiently manage resources and foster development.</p><p>Complex Decision-Making: Traditional decision-making processes within communities can be time-consuming and cumbersome. Our governance system simplifies this process, allowing community members to participate in decision-making easily and privately.</p><p>Onboarding Non-Blockchain Users: Blockchain technology can be intimidating for newcomers. To address this, we utilize an Account Abstraction (AA) system that provides a user-friendly interface, making it seamless for non-blockchain users to get involved.</p><p>Incentivizing Participation: Active participation is vital for effective governance. We incentivize early voting by allowing communities to offer gassless transactions up to a set amount, calculated in US dollars with the help of API3 oracles.</p><strong>Challenges we ran into</strong><strong>Timestamp on L2</strong><p>We encountered several challenges while implementing our voting system. One significant issue we faced was related to the usage of block.timestamp for defining the start and end of the voting period. Initially, we expected the timestamps to be in the Unix timestamp format, as commonly used on Layer 1 (L1) blockchains.</p><p>However, the block.timestamp value on ZkSync seems to have a different format or representation. This inconsistency caused compatibility issues and resulted in incorrect time calculations for the start and end of the voting period. As a result, the system was unable to accurately determine the voting duration.</p><strong>Frontend integration with zksync</strong><p>We used wagmi library and ethers to connect users to our app with their wallets. We experienced a technical challenge while trying to employ the Paymaster and send transaction with Metamask through the Ethers and wagmi libraries.</p><p>Our objective was to engage with contracts and use Paymaster to avoid user paying gas fees, for which we followed the examples set by zkSync example repositories. In those instances, a wallet object is created by the zkSync util library.</p><p>Nevertheless, we faced a hiccup when we attempted to utilize a signer, which was generated by WAGMI following a connection with Metamask. This led to an error message specifying:</p><p>zksync client.js:1 Error: invalid object key - customData (argument="transaction:customData", value=...). This implies that the customData included in the transaction might be causing the issue.</p><p>This was not a blocker, because voting uses burner-wallets, we implemented a solution using single-use wallets, stored in the browser's memory, which satisfactorily bypassed this hurdle.</p><p>However, our goal is to seamlessly incorporate Paymaster with the regular wallet to improve efficiency across all functionalities of the smart-contracts.</p>

To expand its functionality, we have adopted Router Protocol's cross-chain communication method called CrossTalk. Through this solution, we enable the generation of addresses on any blockchain using EIP-6551 implemented on any blockchain.</p><p>Our solution has the following features and advantages:</p>Cross-chain communication: Leveraging Router Protocol's CrossTalk feature, we achieve communication between different blockchains. This enables our ERC-721 tokens to generate addresses on other blockchains, expanding their use cases.Extending EIP-6551 functionality: Through our solution, EIP-6551 is no longer limited to generating addresses compatible only with the EVM. Now, it can generate addresses on multiple blockchains, providing greater flexibility and choice.Enhancing token interoperability: Through cross-chain communication and address generation capabilities, our project facilitates token interoperability between different blockchains. This provides users and developers with more opportunities, making token circulation and exchange easier across different blockchain environments.<p>Our project is dedicated to advancing the blockchain ecosystem by breaking the limitations of ERC-6551 in address generation and offering more choices and flexibility. <h2>Inspiration</h2><p>Being active participants and veterans of Web3 hackathons, we've felt the pinch of the challenges involved in managing and distributing hackathon bounties, grants, and sponsorships. There have been instances where we've lost significant amounts due to a teammate's compromised wallet, or navigated blindly while waiting for a fair share from a fellow participant. These experiences, while tough, served as the catalyst for Safe. We wanted to create the tool we wish we had - a solution that could make treasury and asset management in the Web3 world efficient, secure, and user-friendly.</p><h2>What it does</h2><p>Safe is not just a tool; it's a vision for the future of treasury management for teams in the Web3 ecosystem. It allows sponsors to transfer assets from their preferred blockchain to the winning teams. It simplifies and secures the process, and most importantly, it decentralizes the experience. We've even gone a step further, allowing sponsors to send funds (USDC) over the Filecoin Virtual Machine (FVM) network, in line with the hackathon's ethos.</p><h2>How we built it</h2><p>We leveraged an array of technologies, languages, and platforms like Filecoin, Ethereum, Solidity, JavaScript, Next.js, Ethers js, Web3Auth, Gelato, Gnosis Safe Multisig, Superfluid, Polybase for database management, and Axelar for asset bridging. Each of these elements came together to create a solution that is greater than the sum of its parts. <img src="https://i.imgur.com/hAYQxbG.png" /></p><h2>Challenges we ran into</h2><p>One of the foremost challenges we faced during this project was the implementation of cross-chain asset transfers using Axelar. Given that Axelar primarily provides axlUSDC, we aimed to enhance user experience by allowing the transfer of native USDC itself. However, this necessitated the creation of our own liquidity pools on both the source chain (Filecoin) and destination chain (Ethereum) to enable an easy swap between USDC and axlUSDC and vice versa. This process involved a great deal of precision and technical finesse. In addition, managing the comprehensive database of all the teams, winners, and projects within Polybase was a complex task that pushed our abilities and required us to innovate persistently.</p><h2>Accomplishments that we're proud of</h2><p>Despite the challenges, we managed to integrate Axelar for seamless cross-chain asset transfers. The system we developed for swapping USDC and axlUSDC is a remarkable accomplishment we're very proud of. Also, our system enabling sponsors to send funds over the FVM/Filecoin network is a significant stride in aligning our solution with the hackathon's ethos. Above all, turning our own challenges into a solution for a greater good is our biggest accomplishment.</p><h2>What we learned</h2><p>We emerged from this project richer in experience and knowledge about various technologies. Moreover, we learned that perseverance and effective collaboration are just as vital as technical prowess in overcoming challenges and delivering a product that truly solves a problem.</p><h2>What's next for Safe</h2><p>Safe is just getting started. We plan to refine our solution further, optimizing it for even greater efficiency and security. We're looking to expand its functionality to support more blockchains and bolster our backend operations to handle even larger databases. Our ultimate vision? To establish Safe as a benchmark for treasury and asset management in the Web3 universe. We're committed to building a future where the journey of new developers into the Web3 world is not marred by financial management challenges.
