🛠Main Track

Freedom to Transact

This track is for you if you want to ensure that anyone, anywhere, anytime can facilitate unrestricted transactions. We're looking for projects that enable people to access and send money, or value, across borders without restrictions, promoting financial inclusion. This track is for those who want to hack on peer-to-peer solutions, build censorship-resistant applications, and ensure that transactions can be private and secure.

Robust democracy

This track is all about platforms and tools that enable informed and collective decision-making, transparent governance, and collaboration and coordination among decentralized communities. If you want to build credibly neutral systems for voting, governance, and social interaction, and systems that counter disproportionate influence of centralized powers, then this track is for you and your team. Other ideas you could hack on are consensus-finding algorithms, sybil resistance, and decentralized social reputation.

Infrastructure and tooling

This track is the right choice for you if you want to hack on tools that enhance security and privacy. It's about building projects that prioritize defense, decentralization, and resilience to create a more secure and freer world. Think topics like encryption, counter-surveillance, identity protection, anonymity, anti-identity, security, local data handling, and anything that armors the individual against intrusive data collection practices.

ブロックチェーン技術の普及には、技術に詳しくない一般ユーザーの参加が不可欠です。このテーマでは、Ethereumの複雑さを隠蔽し、日常的なアプリケーションのように使えるプロダクトの開発を目指します。例えば、従来の決済アプリのようなUIを持つDeFiアプリケーション、NFTを活用したロイヤリティプログラム、または地域通貨としてのトークン活用などが考えられます。ユーザー教育と簡単な操作性が鍵となります。

3.VTuber向けのウォレットのUX改善-$1,000

VTuber向けの（バーチャルYouTuber）コミュニティは、デジタル資産と親和性が高い独特の領域です。このテーマでは、VTuberの特殊なニーズに合わせたウォレットのUX（ユーザーエクスペリエンス）改善を目指します。例えば、ライブ配信中に簡単に投げ銭を受け取れる機能、NFTを用いたファングッズの管理、または複数のペルソナ（キャラクター）を持つVTuberのための複数ウォレット管理システムなどが考えられます。視覚的な魅力と使いやすさの両立が重要になります。

1. 🚀Deploy on Scroll - $2000 (Pool prize)

Description: This should just mean changing your RPC! Try out Scroll's next-generation zk-rollup by deploying your project's smart contracts on the Scroll testnet on Sepolia. With Scroll's zkEVM, users will benefit from lower costs, shorter block times, and higher throughput — without you needing to modify your Solidity, Vyper or even Huff code.

 Qualification Requirement: Deploy and verify your smart contract on scroll. Include both the verified contract address and link to scrollscan in your github README. *Prize pool split evenly between all qualifying projects.

2. 👾Best Game on Scroll - $2500

Description: Your goal here is to build the greatest onchain game on Ethereum — we want to see it deployed on Scroll. Use Scroll's Sepolia Testnet for your deployment of a novel game project — we're compatible with the EVM at the bytecode level, so all your Solidity, Vyper, or Yul should just work with the change of an RPC address.

 Qualification Requirement: Project contracts must be deployed and verified on Scroll Sepolia. Add the contract address and link to scrollscan in your Github README! Scroll will be your blank canvas and we welcome all type of games! Surprise us with your wildest ideas! Bonus point for building using Autonomous World tools/framework (i.e. MUD) *Up to 3 projects will be eligible for bounties. 🥇 $1k USD x 1 project, 🥈$750 USD x 2 projects

3. 🧪Best Build using L1SLOAD Precompile - $2500

 Description: Interested in experimenting and exploring novel use cases? Build on Scroll’s latest research for bringing new possibilities to L2 dApps, allowing them to read directly from L1. Deploy an app on our devnet using L1SLOAD, a precompile contract that allows L2 contracts to read state storage slots on L1. Build something interesting or novel or something that imagines a future when every L2 can do the same.

Qualification Requirement: Project contracts must be deployed on Scroll’s L1SLOAD Devnet and verified on its Blockscout deployment. Deployed contract addresses much be included in your project must utilize the L1SLOAD precompile to read state from Sepolia. *Up to 2 projects will be eligible for bounties.

This track is dedicated to fostering innovation and supporting the development of the Neo X ecosystem. Neo X is an EVM-compatible sidechain creating a bridge between Neo N3 and the widely adopted EVM network.

The Grants aim to catalyze the creation of groundbreaking technologies and applications that will contribute to a vibrant and thriving Neo X network. Bring established projects with proven business models and growing user bases to Neo X, providing strategic advantages and enhancing the network's capabilities and competitiveness.

Ideal candidates include decentralized exchanges, lending protocols, perpetual products, launchpads, liquid staking derivatives, restaking platforms, account abstraction (smart contract wallets), stablecoins, and NFT platforms. To win the grant, you need to:

1. Be excellent in ETH Tokyo hackathon, show your creativity and passion.

2. Be prompt to deploy your project on Neo X blockchain.

3. Participate in ETH Tokyo hackathon on-site. That is, web-based participants are not eligible for the grant.

💰ENS Prize $5,000

The Ethereum Name Service is a decentralised naming protocol for the new internet. If your project requires users to input ETH address or display ETH address, consider integrate with ENS so that you can show human readable names.

1. Integrate with ENS (Pool prize of $2000)

Any type of ENS integration is eligible for this prize (NOTE: We do not accept projects simply hardcoding ENS names).

Please follow the quick start guide to learn how to integrate ENS names programatically.

2. Best use of ENS: ( 3x $1000)

The more ENS-centric it is, the better.An example of a successful project may be a smart contract wallet that mints an ENS subname upon deployment, or unique use cases for text records. If you're building an AI project, consider how ENS can be used to name autonomous agents. For L2 projects, we encourage you to explore the EVMGateway. Come by our booth for help brainstorming ideas!

💰Metamask/Linea Prize $2,000

MetaMask / Linea

Build a DeFi, DeSoc, or Gaming App on Linea (w/ MetaMask option)

$2k split between two to three teams in either $1k each or $1k for winner and $500 each for runners up.

Build a cutting-edge DeFi, DeSoc, or Gaming dApp to seize the opportunity and push the boundaries of decentralized technology on zkEVM by deploying your contracts to Linea. Earn additional kudos if you incorporate any MetaMask tooling (MetaMask SDK, Snaps, JSON RPC APIs). Deploying to Linea is a requirement, using MetaMask is optional.
